There was a kitchen, that's a plus. Host was KIND. It's located in a residential area, walking distance to many landmarks of Ghent. Furthermore, they had free WiFi.

the location is super convenient and the hotel is very clean. the view of the garden from the room. enjoyed dining at den groenen staek, set within 10 minutes' walk.

Nothing that i didn't like.
